Sollipulli Volcano climb: Lead by a professional mountain guide. Unlike most volcanoes, its summit is dominated by a massive glacial ice-field nestled within a caldera, offering a unique blend of volcanic and glacial landscapes. Also enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Andes and nearby peaks, and spot wildlife such as Andean condors, foxes, and native bird species.
A Sollipulli Volcano day tour combines physical challenge, pristine wilderness, and stunning natural beauty.
Termas Geométricas: A world-class hot spring experience located in the stunning Villarrica National Park. Designed by renowned Chilean architect Germán del Sol to harmonise with the surrounding landscape, the spa features over 20 thermal pools fed by natural geothermal waters (35°C-45°C). They are connected by elegant red wooden walkways that weave through a lush canyon surrounded by towering ferns, moss-covered rocks, and cascading waterfalls, creating a tranquil, almost otherworldly ambiance.
Tobacco offering & sunset at Llaima Volcano: The journey begins with a serene walk through Conguillío National Park, home to ancient araucaria forests, turquoise lagoons, and dramatic volcanic landscapes. Spot Andean condors and woodpeckers.
At sunset, the adventure ascends to a viewpoint near Volcán Llaima, one of the most active volcanoes in South America. Here, the group will participate in a tobacco offering ritual, a tradition of the indigenous Mapuche culture. This ceremonial act involves offering tobacco leaves to the volcano as a gesture of respect and gratitude to the forces of nature, fostering a deeper connection with the land and its ancestral spirits.
A photography tour through Parque Nacional Conguillío: Capturing the park’s iconic turquoise lagoons, such as Laguna Verde and Laguna Arcoíris, whose still waters mirror the surrounding peaks and forests. The stark contrast of black volcanic lava flows against vibrant greenery creates striking compositions for landscape photography. Deeper into the park, towering araucaria trees, some over 1,000 years old, dominate the scenery, providing dramatic silhouettes and textural depth to your images.
A visit to one of the park’s beaches, such as along the shores of Lake Conguillío, offers a tranquil setting to capture reflections, rippling water, and dramatic backdrops of snow-capped peaks.
